The Lake Pepin Legacy Alliance, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources are hosting a groundbreaking ceremony to kick-off construction of a habit restoration project at the head of Lake Pepin in Bay City, WI. The project, spearheaded by LPLA, includes dredging to expand recreational access to the lake and building peninsulas and shoreline protection to support fish and wildlife habitat. The ceremony will celebrate the years of cooperation between many agencies who helped to make this project possible.
We will have two delicious two food trucks on-site for lunch purchases!
The event is free and open to the public, but we ask that you RSVP so we can get an estimated number of attendees.
